Simulation and experimental study on ECT of circumferential cracks in small-diameter tubes

چکیده
Circumferential crack detection of small diameter tubes is a difficult problem to solve in eddy current testing. The three-dimensional simulation model established through electromagnetic field software analyze the distribution traditional bobbin probe and transverse cylindrical tubes. results show that circumferential has more marked disturbance generated by latter. Based on research, new type based excitation designed detect artificial specimen with probe, which can effectively potentially high sensitivity narrower natural crack.
